POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS are available in Dr. Yang Xu's laboratory at University of California, San Diego (http://www-biology.ucsd.edu/index.html). The positions are for researchers who are interested in mechanisms underlying the self-renewal and differentiation of human embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells. We are also investigating the translational potential of these pluripotent stem cells. Highly motivated Ph.D or M.D candidates with strong background and publication record in molecular biology, development, transplantation immunology and cancer biology are encouraged to apply.

A Postdoc position is available to conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments to reconstruct the genetic network that regulates pluripotency and differentiation of hES cells.
